Honestly both are good games the main difference is the main games maps I personally didn’t like 4s map all that much due to it being in the UK and there being a lot of sharp turns. The entire point to having those upgrades in FM4 was to tune them. A 1.5 way differential could only tune acceleration setting and the 2-way differential could tune accel and decel. With tuning being removed from Horizon it's basically a waste of time to even buy it because it can't be tuned. In Forza Horizon 4, players had a UK-inspired map to explore.
